Total ICI permit values in Greater Sudbury have nearly tripled so far this year (through July), compared to the same point last year. Industrial permit values in Greater Sudbury, which only amounted to $3 million at this point last year, shot up to almost $88 million in the January-July period. Institutional permit values also multiplied compared to last year’s January-July period, increasing from $11 million to over $65 million. Greater Sudbury’s commercial permit values are down by 39% so far this year.
