ICI building permit values in Belleville totalled $16 million in the August-November period. While Belleville’s permit activity in the first half of the year was supported by relatively larger industrial and institutional projects, activity in the August-November period was modest in comparison. Industrial permit values amounted to $5.3 million in this period, 52% less than in the previous four months. Belleville’s commercial permit values totalled $9.7 million in August-November, which was similar to the previous four months. Institutional permit values in Belleville amounted to less than a million dollars in the August-November period, 83% less than the previous 4 months.
