Brantford’s ICI permit values fell by 70% year-over-year in the October-January period, a significant decline following the summer when permit values more than doubled. The only sector to see a year-over-year increase in permit values in the October-January period was the industrial sector, which nearly doubled, accounting for 82% of Brantford’s ICI permit values. Commercial permit values in Brantford fell by 94%. Institutional permits fell by 24%, amounting to only a few hundred thousand dollars, and less than 2% of ICI permits in the Brantford overall.
