Ontario’s ICI permit values increased by 15% year-over-year in the August-November period while every metro area outside of Central Ontario except London had an increase. London’s permit values declined significantly in all three ICI sectors, while in Kingston, Thunder Bay, and Greater Sudbury every sector increased. Industrial permit values, which declined in all but one metro area outside of Central Ontario in the January-July period, increased in all of the metro areas in Northern and Eastern Ontario. Industrial permit values declined in London and Windsor. Commercial permit values, which fell by 5% in Ontario in the August-November period, increased in Greater Sudbury, Kingston, Thunder Bay, and Windsor. Institutional permit values increased in Greater Sudbury, Kingston, Ottawa, and Thunder Bay.
